2. Scope

These terms govern the use of the Festvåg Camp website and on-site services, including parking, camping, tent pre-bookings and donations.

3. Parking

  • Parking is only valid when fully paid through the website with a correct license plate.
  • First and last name and phone number are required so we can reach the vehicle owner.
  • Posted prices apply. 24-hour passes can be bought for one or more days at checkout.
  • Vehicles parked without a valid session or beyond the paid time may be charged a control fee in accordance with Norwegian regulations on private parking.
  • Parking is at the owner's risk. The operator is not liable for theft of or damage to vehicles or contents.

4. Camping and tent pre-booking

  • Tent pre-bookings can be made online with date and arrival time. Camper vans and caravans cannot be pre-booked and are served on arrival, subject to availability.
  • Guests must respect quiet hours, fire restrictions and waste/sanitation rules posted on site.
  • The operator may refuse or terminate a stay for behaviour that endangers other guests or the site, without refund.

5. Payments and receipts

Payments are processed by Vipps. A receipt is sent to the email provided at checkout. Prices include VAT where applicable.

6. Cancellations and refunds

Parking purchases are non-refundable once activated. For tent pre-bookings, contact us as early as possible; refunds are at the operator's discretion and may be denied for late cancellations or no-shows. The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to leisure services tied to a specific date (Consumer Contracts Act § 22 lit. m).

7. Donations

Donations support the Festvågtind trail and site upkeep. Donations are voluntary and non-refundable.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the operator's liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected service. The operator is not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

9. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Disputes shall be resolved in the ordinary Norwegian courts, with Salten og Lofoten tingrett as the legal venue. Consumers may also bring complaints to the Norwegian Consumer Authority (Forbrukertilsynet).
